FIFA 2K is a possible video game in the 2K Sports saga, this company is well known for having the rights to the NBA (National Basketball Association) and MLB (Major League Baseball), the best baseball league.
After parting ways with EA in 2023 due to a non-commercial agreement for the renewal of the commercial contract to keep the FIFA name in their video games, 2K Games and the main developer of these games Take-Two Interactive could take over the rights to FIFA to compete head to head against EA FC, the famous football video game from EA Sports.

This information has come about through a great deal of speculation and rumours about EA's famous video game saga and its entire run with ‘FIFA’.
Since the release of EA FC 24, many have wondered if it would continue to be successful in the football video game market, however, this possible entry of FIFA 2K25 could complicate its absolute dominance of this market next year.
Why separate FIFA and EA Sports?
The main reason for the non-renewal of the contract with FIFA after more than 25 years was that they did not reach an economic agreement, the approximate figure that FIFA asked for from EA was 250 million dollars ($250,000,000).

The possible video game from 2K Games could have more licenses than FIFA, it is rumoured that FIFA 2K would have official licenses for more than 35 leagues and more than 800 teams worldwide.

Recently the FIFA president has made official statements that the new FIFA is already in development and the FIFA brand itself intends to bring its brand back to the video game.
