Flappy Bird was born in 2013 at the hands of Vietnamese Dong Nguyen, under his game development company "Gears". The game quickly escalated in major markets, gaining a lot of fame in its early days and subsequently becoming the most downloaded app of the week.
Flappy Bird is a game with the objective of flying between rows of green pipes without touching them. The control of the game is simple: tapping the screen makes the bird flap and climb, and when you stop tapping, the bird falls due to gravity. Each pair of pipes that the bird successfully passes through awards a point to the player.
