All the new features coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – Raid and Hijacked return
The countdown is on: Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 officially launches on November 14, 2025, available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Battle.net). It will also be available day one on Game Pass, making it one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year.
Remastered classic maps
Fan-favorite maps from Black Ops 2 are back:
- Raid
- Express
- Hijacked
These legendary battlegrounds return with a fresh remastered look, blending nostalgia with next-gen visuals.
Gameplay innovations
Several confirmed and leaked features promise to redefine gameplay:
- Specialist abilities: making a comeback, including a grapple hook and active camouflage.
- Large-scale mode: epic battles with landing ships and bigger objectives.
- Co-op campaign: a full cooperative experience, something not seen in over a decade.
- David Mason’s return: continuing the story with one of the franchise’s key characters.
Futuristic setting
Set in 2035, ten years after the events of Black Ops 2, the campaign takes a darker twist. Special forces will face an experimental weapon that turns fear into hallucinations, pushing the narrative into uncharted psychological territory.
Zombies are back
The beloved Zombies mode is confirmed to return, redesigned with dynamic maps, new enemy types, and random events, ensuring each playthrough feels unique.
Pre-order bonuses
Pre-ordering Black Ops 7 unlocks the Reznov Challenge Pack and the Archive Edition, featuring:
- 4 Operators: Karma, Harper, T.E.D.D., and Reaper EWR-3.
- 5 Mastery weapon blueprints.
Beta before release
The Beta will kick off in October:
- Early Access (October 2, 11 AM CST): for pre-order customers.
- Open Beta (October 5, 11 AM CST): free for all players.
Each phase will run for 72 hours, giving the community a first taste of the game’s maps, modes, and mechanics.
